Monthly Member Challenge

At Delaware Pottery Studios we want to foster a creative work space and a strong sense of community. To achieve our strong sense of community, each month our members will be able to partake in our Monthly Challenge*!

Each month members will be tasked with a specific challenge that they will have a month to make. The challenge ends with a small gathering event where everyone can show off their pieces.

Challenges are completely optional for members*

Past and Current challenges:

July 27th-August 27th 2026 - Mini Museum!

Our first monthly challenge theme is Mini Museum! For this challenge members will be tasked with creating a miniature piece or pieces. Ideally these will be 5 inches or under in height. Think mini sculpture, mini pots, mini figurine, mini WHATEVER!

October - How to start selling your items

November - Friendsgiving!

December - Mug Swap

Monthly Challenges

Love seeing what other members make or specialize in? Our studio is full of talented ceramic artists who would love to share their favorite techniques. Rotating members will host a technique night where they teach their specialty to other members.

Are you a member and interested in teaching a technique night? Let a staff member know!

Content Planning

We will be hosting seasonal events including a Mug Swap, a Festival of Bowls, and a Pottery Throw Down event. While we are still getting situated in our new space, these events do not have set dates yet but please stay tuned for information regarding our seasonal events.
